The Analyze of The Characters

• The Professor, unrespectful person, have high temper, an insane person
• The Young People, eager and enthusiastic to learn, but stupid 
• The Maid, Care enough, respect with each other

  
Setting : The office of the old professor            Time : One Day

Plot      :In this play has cycical plot, in which there is no clear distinction between how the story ends and how the story began or there is an unfinished problem in the story, it is beyond our reach since we could do nothing to help to solve the problem. This can be found in the play the lesson. In the end of the play, the professor kills the young pupil.

Style  : The style of the language using verbal nonsense, humour, and fantastic happenings instead of using direct statement. Besides, using the things imaginary object. The things are imaginary blackboard, imaginary knife, and imaginary piece of chalk.

Theme/issues  : The professor is assosiated as the cleverest and the highest. Until the end of this play occurs the professor kills the pupil.

Conclusion : The professor is an insane person and the pupil is very stupid. From the progress of the play, the professor underestimates the pupil who is clever, eager and anthusiastic to learn until the pupil suddenly becomes stupid. In the end of the play, the professor kills the pupil and with the help of his maid he could get rid of her corpse. It can concluded that the overall this drama is MAN VERSUS SOCIETY  because it's relation to the human surrounds. It can also see from his explanation in phinology and how he ignores his maid every time she warns him.
